Austin and the metro area

Austin SEO for every neighborhood and suburb

Customers search by neighborhood and by town, and Google shows different businesses depending on where the searcher stands. Here is how we think about Austin and the area around it.

  • Neighborhood and suburb searches, handled one honest page at a time
  • Service areas set the way Google requires
  • A plain explanation of what we will and will not build

How local results work

Distance matters in Austin

Where the searcher stands changes the result. A search made in Hyde Park and the same search made in Round Rock can show different businesses in the map pack. That is how Google weighs distance, relevance and prominence.

So we do not check your ranking from one spot. We look at how you appear from several parts of your service area, then explain the pattern and which gaps are worth closing.

Our approach

Why we are careful with location pages

We do not build one page per neighborhood by default. Pages that swap the neighborhood name and repeat the same text add nothing for people, and Google can treat them as low-value pages made to rank.

We build an area page when you really serve the area and can show something real: jobs you completed, photos you took, reviews from customers there and local details only you know. Until then, one strong service page and a well-set profile do more.

Our test for an area page

  • You actively serve the area
  • You have real work, photos or reviews from it
  • You can say something specific that a competitor cannot
  • It helps a customer decide, not just rank

FAQ

Questions about areas

Do you build a separate page for every neighborhood?

No, and we explain why above. A neighborhood page is worth building only when you really serve that area and have something specific to say about it. Thin pages with the neighborhood name swapped can do more harm than good.

What if my customers are all over the metro?

Then your Google profile lists the areas you serve, up to 20 by city or ZIP code, and your website has one strong page for each service. We add an area page only where you have real jobs, photos and reviews to show.

Will I show up in every neighborhood I list?

Not necessarily. Google weighs distance, so a business nearer the searcher often shows first. We check how you appear from different parts of the metro and tell you which gaps are worth closing.
